Description

This is a free workshop on history and culture for the Rockingham County and Harrisonburg City Educational Community. In response to the growing Latino/a community in the nation, state and county, JMU professors have organized the annual "Cultura y Comunidad", a community workshop intended to generate ideas about K-12 curricular content on Latin American and Latino/a history and culture in accordance with the Virginia standards of learning.
