The Impact of an Organized Team-Training for New Hire Engagement and Knowledge and Employment Retention

Faculty Advisor Name

Dr. Oris Griffin McCoy

Description

The purpose of the study is to determine the impact an organized, team training has on new hire’s engagement, knowledge retention, and length of employment (loyalty) in the hiring organization. An anonymous organization will be surveyed to determine correlations between the type of training that was received, and how it impacted the employee's engagement (feeling a sense of belonging and investment into their future), conformability with their level of knowledge to do their job, and commitment to the organization. The results will then be compared to a detailed literature review to determine "constants" and "outliers".
