Generations are shaped by shared economic, social, historical, and/or technological experiences. Previous research on Generation Z values focused on events that took place prior to COVID-19; with a new historical and economic event, it will likely change the way Gen Zers approach the workplace. The purpose of this qualitative study will be to understand the lived experiences of Gen-Z employees during the COVID-19 pandemic and their work values before, during, and after the pandemic.
