Abstract
In 1988, following the withdrawal of Soviet Forces from Afghanistan, Guy Willoughby established The Hazardous Area Life-support Organization Trust—commonly known as The HALO Trust—a nonprofit organization dedicated to clearing explosive and hazardous remnants of war.
