Abstract
Subject Guides provides James Madison University (JMU) students with a curated list of essential databases and library materials relevant to their major. The goal of these guides is to enable students to create the best possible research and creative projects. The purpose of this study is to conduct usability tests of JMU’s Subject Guides, and to identify methods to close the gap between librarians’ perceptions of effective online pathfinders and students’ ability to successfully take advantage of them.
