Description

For the third consecutive year, The Breeze is the best non-daily newspaper of its size in Virginia. The newspaper, which competed against commercial newspapers from throughout the state, received the Virginia Press Association's 2019 Grand Sweepstakes award in its circulation group for the third consecutive year. It is the paper's fifth-ever Grand Sweepstakes. The Breeze also won the award for the 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018 calendar years. The paper also won the News Sweepstakes for its news content and a Best in Show for its page design.
