Each year scholars from across the country gather at the Engagement Scholarship Consortium Conference to discuss successes, challenges and benefits of engaged learning in all disciplines and student groups. As an “engaged university,” JMU has been well represented at this conference in years past. Melissa Lubin, Outreach and Engagement, serves on the ESC board as JMU's representative.
