Description

The Valley Voice Radio Reading service is provided for the visually- and print-impaired by the Center for Public Broadcasting and WMRC. Sometimes referred to as "talking newspapers for the print-impaired", this service focuses on delivering local news and information through presentation of local newspapers. Around 4,000 listeners each week rely on the service to hear time-sensitive print matter. Listeners are in Harrisonburg, Staunton, Bridgewater, Charlottesville and portions of the surrounding countryside. Around 4,000 listeners each week rely on the service.
