Abstract
As arbitrary as it may seem when one thinks about it, society has developed the perception that personal appearance is directly related to sexual preference.
Matt Miles is a 3rd year sophomore-ish transfer student from the prestigious George Mason University. He is an ISS major with a minor in Secondary education with plans to teach in Northern Virginia. He enjoys writing on lighter, less typical topics. You may have read his work in UVA’s V Magazine, titled “Why JMU Students Hate UVA Students.”
