Paul Gaston Receives Cottrell Scholar Award

Dr. Paul Raston was named a 2019 Cottrell Scholar by the Research Corporation for Scientific Advancement. 24 Cottrell Scholars were named in 2019 and hail from all categories of universities and colleges - from large, research intensive universities to small, liberal arts colleges. As explained by the RCSA, "The Cottrell Scholar (CS) program champions the very best early career teacher-scholars in chemistry, physics and astronomy...Outstanding candidates are admitted to the ranks of Cottrell Scholars through a stringent peer-review process based on their innovative research proposals and education programs." Dr. Raston's winning proposal was named, "Laser Spectroscopic Investigation of Atmospherically Important Complexes at Ultra Low Temperature"
