Description

Project Read is a service coordinated by the Harrisonburg Rotary Club whereby community members read to at-risk kindergartners and first graders in the morning at the five city elementary schools. Study after study indicates that reading proficiency in early childhood correlates highly with many positive outcomes including graduating from high school and future earnings.
