Description

The Big Event is a university-wide day of community service. Through service-oriented activities, The Big Event promotes campus and community unity as students come together for one day to express their gratitude for the support from the surrounding community. Volunteers enjoy food and entertainment on the Quad before serving the community. Volunteers are divided into teams led by team captains before they go out into the local Harrisonburg and Rockingham County communities for their designated service projects.`
