Description

Each year, JMU student-athletes and psychology students welcome athletes from Special Olympics Virginia for the annual Day with the Dukes, a special day in Godwin Hall and Bridgeforth Stadium filled with fun and sports. The Special Olympians spend their day interacting with student-athletes from the men's and women's basketball teams, football, cheerleading and representatives of several other programs. Participants kick field goals, run routes, shoot free throws and learn JMU cheers, amongst other activities.
