Description

The Sharing My Culture Program (SMC) is a service-learning opportunity for international students to get involved in the local community by giving a 30 minute, fun and informative presentation about his or her country to local elementary school children. SMC presenters increase global awareness by sharing their culture with local elementary school children, improve their public speaking skills, and add a service-learning activity to their resume. The SMC program coordinator will assist presenters in creating their presentation. It is possible for SMC presenters to do joint or team presentations as well.
