Description
The JMU Graduate School is supporting students to engage the world through innovative research, creative activities, study abroad, conference and seminar presentations. Graduate education has beneficial effects, not just on the student, but also on the world. Consider Katherine Skiff; she is impacting the lives of children in rural areas of Tanzania. Combining research and practice, she brings her skills as a Doctor of Nursing Practice to underserved populations in Africa. Katherine would not have been able to make the trip without the financial support provided by contributions to the JMU Graduate School Education Fund. Katherine and the children she helped would have missed this life-changing opportunity to engage with one another.
