Faculty Advisor Name

Oris Griffin

Description

This study intends to provide academic institutions with statistical evidence that determines higher education staff member’s attitudes and self-efficacy beliefs in regards to technology integration in the workplace. This will help to determine if there are varying levels of resistance to technology interventions. The study then hopes to determine the best strategic plan for new technology to be integrated among this audience. The population sample will consist of higher education staff members working in offices that specifically support Student Affairs and University Planning (SAUP). I will distribute a survey across all SAUP offices at James Madison University.

I expect to find varying levels of attitudes and beliefs and will be able to determine possible action plans to integrate new technology in order to make technology integration more successful. The results from the study will allow the target audience to implement technology in a more efficient way and for true technology adoption to take place.
