Description
There is a gap in counselor education on paraphilic disorders, and I propose to develop a curriculum to address that gap. This presentation will focus on the use of the Community Attitudes Toward Sex Offenders Scale before and after the implementation of such a curriculum. The purpose of this assessment will be to measure any change in attitudes and beliefs about sex offenders in counseling students after receiving a more substantial education on paraphilic behavior.
