Policies for JMU Honors Theses and Projects
Who Can Submit
JMU Scholarly Commons only publishes materials about work conducted under the auspices of the JMU Honors College. For additional information, please contact the JMU Honors College.
Requests for a work to be updated or removed from public view should be sent to the repository administrator at email@example.com. Note that a citation of the original version of the work will always remain on the site even if the work itself is removed.
Authors do not have an opportunity to approve works they have submitted prior to them becoming publicly available on the site; therefore, please be sure that the paper is ready for public distribution.
Rights and Permissions
Before submitting a work to the repository, please be sure that all necessary permissions have been cleared. You retain the copyright to your work and grant us the nonexclusive right to publish this material, meaning that you may also publish it elsewhere.
It is necessary that you agree to the terms of publishing in the repository listed in the author agreement. Works that are not intended for public dissemination should not be submitted to JMU Scholarly Commons. Contact the repository administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org for individualized assistance.
