Abstract
On the 18th of July 2017 at [International Demining Organisation] task CBU-575 FO, an uncontrolled detonation of an M77 sub-munition occurred while [International Demining Organisation] BAC 2 searcher [the Victim] was working in his lane (5 minutes into his third shift) and led to an injury.
The injuries sustained by [the Victim] resulted in severe wounds and fractures in his right ring finger.
Based on all available evidences, the BOI team concludes that the accident occurred with the searcher while he was cutting vegetation and moving rocks in his clearance lane (un-cleared area).
