Abstract
Responses to a survey of undergraduates in a 100-level course indicate that students understand what plagiarism is and that it is a serious academic offense. However, they are skeptical as to how often plagiarists are caught. Nearly a quarter of respondents admitted that they might plagiarize if pressed for time.
