Abstract
The purpose of this focus group initiative was to explore how graduate students at James Madison University (JMU) perceive the accessibility, effectiveness, and fairness of student services. The sessions were designed to identify which support mechanisms are working well, where gaps exist, and how institutional policies and practices can better promote inclusion, academic success, and overall well-being. This initiative aligns with JMU’s broader commitment to enhancing student success and fostering equitable learning environments across graduate programs.
